"This was my third time staying at the Divi and each time I’ve loved it even more. The property has so much going for it…a stunning beach, varied dining options (Club Margot is a highlight), a friendly, hard-working staff, a well-maintained property (there was always someone around cleaning or fixing something), and a modest but enjoyable offering of activities and entertainment. We booked an oceanview room and were lucky to be placed in the lovely Vista II building. The room was modern and spacious with great storage, a comfy bed and all the amenities we needed. My favorite was the bathroom with the double sink and the roomy, luxurious shower stall with rainfall showered. Our only disappointment was the breakfast buffet which was half the size as when we last visited. I missed the many made-to-order stations. I hope that this is due to construction and that the buffet will be restored to the way it was."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located in a quieter area of Aruba, which we preferred over the much busier Palm Beach. Eagle Beach is beautiful - wide, clean, and one of the highlights of our trip. The pool area is also excellent and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and cleaned thoroughly every day, with excellent housekeeping service. There were a few downsides, though. We weren’t a fan of the beach setup. The lounge chairs were placed quite far from the water and very close together. In addition, the front row was usually “reserved” very early in the morning by guests leaving towels on the chairs. Another inconvenience was that the beach chairs were removed after 4 p.m., so it wasn’t possible to comfortably enjoy the beach in the late afternoon. A couple of practical things to know before you arrive: there is no ATM at the hotel, so it’s a good idea to bring enough cash. Our room also didn’t have a minibar. The breakfast was the best meal of the day, with a good selection of food. However, we were surprised that only regular black coffee was included. Cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty coffee drinks came at an additional charge, and this wasn’t clearly communicated in advance. Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, we had a wonderful stay."
