Unfortunately there was a problem with the hot water system. The water in the bathroom for showering and face washing was cold. Also at breakfast, the fried eggs were cold and oily.

A great place to stay in Setubal
We attended the Setubal Live Score Film Festival, and this hotel was within walking distance of both of the film venues and the train station. It’s also just across the street from a park filled with whimsical statues, as well as the town’s soccer stadium. The a la carte dinner in the hotel’s restaurant was quite good, and the breakfast buffet was satisfying. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the indoor pool, but the water temperature and cleanliness of the whole spa area made for a relaxing and enjoyable swim. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the park. The bed could have been a little softer though.

The Hotel didn’t have enough park space and we left the car in the front of the Hotel and got a parking ticket. Besides that the food was great.

Great property
We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. For about one of them the pool and spa were closed for unannounced maintenance. The free parking spots were never available and we always had to pay for parking, which was an inconvenience having to check the parking meter. My parent's room had a fridge that wasn't working and never got fixed. The location is great next to Bonfim park and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

The staff was great, very helpful. The hotel is located in a great area, just a few minute walk to almost anywhere you would need to go. My room had an excellent view of the city, park, and Bonfim Stadium.

Great Building Great Location Good Range of Food for Breakast hot food not always hot. Most likely we would go back. Very comfortable and clean. There was one big problem the effect of group tours and conferences filling up the bar and booking the resturant 5 out of 6 nights so we could not eat in the resturant if we wished to. At times the bookings overflowed into the bar. As a consquence we could not have a nightcap in the bar and there were no tables available for a dinner reservation had we wished to do so. At breakfast some days the restaurant was also very full but we did cope with that. I did discuss this with one staff member who said to eat in the restaurant it was better to book a table at the time of reservation of the room. I don't think this work as one might be the only 2 people not eating the set group meal. However, this was not a signifcant problem for us. We were visiting relatives who have moved to Setubal and we were out with them each evening, as we will be on our next visit to the town. However, it could disturb some guests at the hotel.

Rusty bins and fittings in changing rooms for pool. Shower in the gym overflowed and was still the same one day after. Pool area the only downer everything else was superior. Breakfast was excellent part of room price, better than the Radisson Blu I stayed the following day paid for. Rooms clean, TV in the room modern better than that in the Radisson Blu I stayed the following day.

Affordable luxury in Setubal.
I loved the room. It was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. All the staff were lovely. I’m aware that my view may have been compromised by the free bottle of wine they were giving guests to celebrate Christmas but it was indicative of the friendly and accommodating nature of this establishment.

Si quieres aparcamiento aquí no vayas
El hotel y las instalaciones muy bien, pero hice reserva con aparcamiento y al llegar estaba completo y tuvimos que dar 4 vueltas a la manzana hasta que encontramos un hueco. Que era zona azul y nos pusieron una multa a las 09:50 por no tener tiquet. El hotel no se hizo cargo de nada y tampoco nos ayudó a en nada. Parece mentira que en un Meliá pasa esto, es la primera vez de muchas estancias. No volveremos al de Setubal

Hôtel très propre proche du centre ville
Excellente adresse proche du centre ville. Très propre, petit déjeuner excellent. Salle de sport très bien équipée, piscine et spa. Le stationnement se fait sur des places réservées dans la rue, je n’ai pas eu de problème.

Personale non formato con nessuna esperienza. Regole assurde dove la colazione deve essere prenotata la sera prima ed hai un tempo limitato di 30 minuti. Lo stesso vale per la piscina deve essere necessariamente prenotata e anche questa a a tempo limitato, asciugamani sporchi e acqua gialla in Idro massaggio . Più di una volta si è chiesto al personale di cambiare il telo per il bidet,lo hanno cambiato solo l’ultimo giorno.Spesso rispondevano male ad una domanda,come portare la bottiglia di acqua in camera,cosa che c’è come servizio.Insomma è come essere a lavoro devi fare tutto negli orari prestabiliti quando disponibili,e se tardi 5 minuti per lasciare la camera,ti chiamano immediatamente dalla reception. Assurdo per una catena come il Melia. Questo Hotel scredita tutta la catena. Assolutamente da evitare.
