I’ve had better food (and service) at a FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST The rooms had been “updated” but in a very poor fashion. The bathtub faucet wasn’t even caulked to the wall so when we pulled the lever to start the shower it did nothing. We had to hold the faucet in order to pull the lever. Every shower bar was crooked. It was obvious this place was updated in a cheap and quick fashion. The waterpark was a BLAST! We will definitely be back just to visit the water park. The rest of the place we could do without though. "

"The hotel is outdated and our room Smelled like lingering smoke. Our room and bed was clean. I went April 10th 2026 Friday $154 for 1 night, for a daughter baton & dance competition. For what we needed, it was a good stay. The staff was very friendly, and courteous. We were not able to take advantage of the free breakfast. "

There are stains on the ceiling, the shower didn’t work properly, the sofa bed pull out mattress had stains on it, I looked under the sink for something and there was a baby pacifier—not sure how long it has been there. Also, I am not sure if they provided new sheets or not for the pull out sofa-because they were just wadded up and thrown on the top shelf of the closet. The photos used in advertising are definitely stock. I am not a high maintenance hotel person, but it was apparent this place is not the cleanest and in need of maintenance and updating. "

"Overall, the stay at Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains was decent. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is convenient for visiting the area. The property itself felt a bit dated in places. Nothing was broken or unpleasant, but it doesn’t have a particularly modern or updated feel. One thing future guests should definitely be aware of: during check-in, I was repeatedly encouraged to attend a “90-minute presentation.” Even after politely declining multiple times, the staff member continued to push and negotiate before finally backing off when I became more firm. I understand this is part of the business model, but the persistence felt uncomfortable and took away from the overall experience. A simple “no thanks” should be enough. Aside from that, the stay was perfectly fine. Just be prepared to firmly decline the sales pitch if you’re not interested. Me personally, I won't be staying here again, but there is nothing "wrong" with this place other than the aggressive sales pitches and dated aesthetic. "
