This is a very nice place to stay. It is really in the center of old town. Lots of places to eat. Great bars also. Not far from taking trips to out of town for meeting points. It has European breakfast and it good and has cold cuts options. We prefer American breakfast with omelets. Cafe con lache is good also. Overall great place. Very nice staff. The proximity to the historical sights like the Cathedral and Alcazar Palace was perfect. Also close to the Santa Cruz area, lots of bars and cafes for tapas and drinks!

The Sercotel Las Casas de los Mercaderes was a very nice and clean hotel in the heart of Seville. It was an easy walk to any part of the city centre. We really enjoyed our time at Sercotel Las Casas and the city of Seville!

Perfect location

Great hotel location

Perfect location. Very central and walkable to almost everything within 10 to 15 mins. Room could have done with a few more drawers for clothing storage otherwise ideal.

Ideal location

Lovely hotel, very clean, staff friendly and helpful, central location. The only downside was that we had a frosted window that opened out onto pipes in the centre of the building. I think you would get a proper window with a view in the superior rooms. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel

In theirs list of services it is mentioned Parking They don’t have a parking and they send you to one nearby like 7 minutes walking. The place looks clean but for our surprise we found a big cockroach on the floor probably from ventilation sistem

From the moment I stepped into the Sercotel Las Casas de los Mercaderes, I was transported into a world of charm and elegance. This hotel, nestled in an 18th-century house in Seville’s old trading center, is a perfect blend of history and modern comfort. The location is unbeatable, being within 300 meters of the Cathedral and Giralda Tower. It’s also just a short stroll away from plenty of shops and tapas restaurants on Calle Sierpes and in the Santa Cruz district. The rooms are air-conditioned and include satellite TV, a safe, and a minibar. Each room has a private bathroom with a bathtub and a hairdryer. The rooms are pleasant and comfortable, with a good bed and an excellent bathroom. The hotel is surprisingly quiet at night, considering its central location. The hotel’s beautiful central courtyard with a bright glass roof is a sight to behold. The staff at the 24-hour reception are friendly and helpful. The hotel also provides free high-speed internet (WiFi). In conclusion, my stay at the Sercotel Las Casas de los Mercaderes was a delightful experience. The combination of its historical charm, modern amenities, excellent location, and friendly staff made it a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seville.

Whilst this hotel has a lot going for it in many ways, not least its' location and some (but not all) of the staff are friendly, polite, well-informed and efficient, there are certain aspects that I was unhappy with. Firstly, having booked a single room more than three months earlier, the standard of my room was - whilst very clean and efficiently cleaned - it was most disappointing to discover that the room did not have a window...! Pretty basic to say the least. Secondly, the wi-fi connection in the room was at times extremely poor, constantly cutting out. Thirdly, when checking out on my departure date I was suddenly presented with the bill for my stay, despite having been booked through 'Expedia'. I was unaware that the hotel were expecting me to personally pay in person. Surely this should have been raised long before I was checking-out. perhaps more efficiently when I was checking-in four days earlier. I pointed this out when I was suddenly hit with this demand, emphasising that I had a flight to catch directly. The member of staff - unlike all others I had dealt with during my four-day stay - was abrupt, ill-mannered and rude, simply demanding payment, which was made. Thankfully I did catch my flight - no thanks to the member of staff at the hotel,
