"The location of this large family house is excellent for exploring the town of Bridlington. The seafront is at the other end of road with only one road to cross with the children. Tesco Express and Morrisons Daily both within easy reach on foot. Parking is fine for three cars, last car in will be first car out. "This is one of the best places we've stayed in for a long time. It was convenient to where we wanted to be, the room was clean and a good size but the thing that gets a 5 star review from us is the lovely staff. Katy and Chloe were exceptionally lovely, very helpful, friendly and welcoming to everyone. Katy was great with checking in and was our waitress in the evening, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Chloe was around in the mornings for breakfast shift. I saw her dealing with a family with extra needs and she was superb in her handling of those needs. I came away feeling that I would definitely like to stay there again, unlike a few other places we've stayed at. I hope that Marstons give Chloe and Katy a bonus for a 5 star review, and to be honest the rest of the team deserve a little something too as they were all friendly, but these two deserve an extra pat on the back :)"

"What a gem this country hotel is. With eleven guest rooms, you feel the personal touch and it starts the moment you arrive. Once shown to your room, you are offered a complimentary cream tea in one of the beautifully appointed lounges. The bedrooms are generously sized, beautifully decorated and furnished and have the charm of a stately home. The en-suite is large, and the shower super-efficient, whilst the soaps and shampoos are of the highest quality. You really feel important staying here. Breakfast is an event in its own right, where the owners shower you with meticulous attention offering you a wide range of options, before serving beautifully presented and excellent tasty food and drinks. Each morning, we left having been filled to capacity and set up for the day ahead. Leaving was like a family farewell, and I cannot overstate the fabulous surroundings and attentive owners who make this place so special."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Hartendale. Very well equipped cottage and the welcome pack and bottle of bubbly very well received. Excellent location within walking distance to the beach, supermarket, a fantastic chippy and pubs. Very quiet and relaxing. Ample parking on street and gated secure garden front and back. Would definitely return."
