"Impressed. Room seemed newly updated and was clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was warm and the kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was good though the bacon could have been better cooked, it was a little underdone. Short walk to the beach. Note I parked on the street and now have a car covered in bird droppings so avoid the trees! Will definitely look to book again when we can. "

"Had a lovely two night stay here whilst exploring Bournemouth. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. Good breakfast, spacious rooms; and a bath! A very convenient location to the beach and the town. It is right in the middle of a very steep hill though, not at fault of anyone, but it was a pain for myself to walk up; says more about me than the hotel lol! But an excellent value hotel and id stay again! "

"We stayed here for one night before our cruise. The property itself was nice, and the bedding was comfortable, but the room felt a bit outdated, especially for the $250 nightly rate. The tub/shower setup was odd—with the shower head fixed to the wall—and the separate shower was clogged, causing water to back up. The sink drain had the same issue. The carpet was coming up from the wall, which added to the overall worn feel of the room. On a positive note, the restaurant looked great, and the bar inside the solarium was a nice touch. Overall, it was just okay for a one-night stay, but I expected a bit more for the price. "

"Stayed for family business nearby. Unexpectedly good value and well located. Parking was easy, comments on expedia and other suggest on busy days like weddings that this may be less so, although seems to be overflow parking available. "

"Superb as always. All staff are very helpful and friendly. I wish to mention the exemplary service from Callum, the restaurant manager. He goes above and beyond to look after my 12 year old son’s needs, who had autism. Life can be very challenging at times and Callum makes things much easier for us when we stay at the Village in Portsmouth. Thank you so much."
