From arrival to departure, every service was excellent and the staff was so friendly. The cleanliness and facilities of the room were very satisfying and it was excellent as a luxuty modern hotel. Good location and good views from the room, though in compare to other Edition hotels I have been to, this one is definitely an on a lower quality of Edition hotels and more comparable to 4 start hotels. They failed twice to deliver my luggage to my room and failed to book a reservation for dinner. even after talking to manager, there were many time miscommunication. Overal, don't worth the cost and better alternatives available out there.

Good location at the end of Nanjinglu, with lots of food choices and walking distance to the bund. Hotel has great service (especially Mia) and a nice pool.

My second time staying at The Edition and it still remains one of my favourite hotels. The staff was great, especially Benjamin who will magically appear and solve our problems with Chinese apps. The staff, the reception and the bellboys, is amazingly helpful even when I was leaving the hotel. Cleanliness is as fantastic as ever! The room is spotless, even areas that some other 5-star hotels ignore. I know because I wet-wiped all surfaces. Lastly, the hotel will send emails to you before you arrive so that they can accommodate any request.
