Nice hotel in a great location, easy walk to the nearby Old Town and Yu Garden, with the Bund a short walk away also. We had a lovely room with views of the Shanghai and Oriental Pearl towers which looked amazing lit up at night. Despite the language barrier the staff were kind, welcoming and courteous towards us, I would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent location next to Metro, convenience stores, food and Yu Garden. Breakfast had good variety. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Free access to laundry machines was real bonus.

I’m very pleased with the reception at the hotel; it was excellent, very clean and the breakfast I really liked. There was a wide choice of both Western and Eastern cuisine. It was amazing my experience.

The hotel is in a very good position, both if you want to use thr metro or just call a didi. The room was spacious and very clean. True, the staff doesn't speak English, but they use the translator and do their best to communicate. They're very nice and friendly.

My family and I loved our stay at the Crystal Hotel!! It was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Hands down, 10/10! The employee who helped us at check-in was excellent and professional. He upgraded both of our rooms and allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. He even pre-arranged transportation to the airport, which helped us out a lot. The driver arrived on time and was very professional from pick-up to drop-off. Beverages were provided at check-in, and a complimentary self-service espresso machine and refreshment area were also available. The hotel felt secure and safe, requiring a hotel key to access the elevators and select your specific floor. The hotel was very clean, modern, and appeared to be brand new. We were extremely impressed with our room! The toilet and shower were conveniently separated, and the shower was exceptionally large and featured a rain showerhead. The room was spacious and included A/C, a large TV, a mini fridge, a table, robes, slippers, and more. We especially enjoyed the high-tech buttons that controlled the lighting and curtains! The location was also great! Yu Garden was just a couple of minutes away on foot, with plenty of shopping and dining options right outside the hotel. For added convenience, there was a FamilyMart next to the entrance and a 7-Eleven across the street. We would definitely stay here again and would 100% recommend this hotel to family and friends!

All was okay - great location, fine staff, good food options, sufficient toiletries and towels, free water, tea, and coffee, though no safe; laundry and spa facilties were there too, though I did not use them - too time consuming and expensive, respectively (was not impressed by the look of the spa - had to wait long for anybody to attend to me), but the most objectionable thing was that I was fooled - I booked a room with city view but got the view of an empty terrace and windows of other rooms of the same hotel and perhaps another, so much so that I had to keep the curtains on the whole time. When I asked the guy who took me to my room about this, he non-chalantly said "you don't need to have a city view." I was dumbfounded and just stayed there anyway, primarily due to the location and also the hassle of finding another place on the fly. I will most likely not stay there again.

Staff is ok. But the air conditioner turned off every day when we back in the room, need to go to front desk have stuff come in to set up again. On the third day we stay, after shower, water is leaking to the whole washroom, staff comes to fix the shower, and front desk upgraded the room for us to move to.

Although nothing special on the outside, the hotel was extremely clean and beautiful inside. Our room was super high tech with buttons that did everything, bathroom and shower were incredible, toiletries smelled amazing. Most importantly, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast!! It was varied and abundant and very tasty. Will certainly come back

The hotel room was clean, air con was cold. But the lightings in the room can hardly be controlled to turn On/Off, eg the lightings in the toilet and the lightings at the sink outside are connected, either all On or Off, not user friendly. Furthermore, the outside toilet at B1 restaurant has got no toilet paper replenished.

Vårt reisefølge hadde 3 rom. De som fikk rom i 6. etasje fikk rom med gjennomgående fuktproblem. Elendig luft og det var i dårlig forfatning. Hotellet må ha vært klar over dette da de hadde luftfiltere lett tilgjengelig i rom i samme etasje. Hele korridoren i 6. etasje hadde fukt problemer. Vi synes ikke hotellet håndterte dette godt nok da dette må ha vært et kjent problem for dem. Vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet.
