Hotels with Swimming Pools in Shanor-Northvue

"This is a very clean, pet friendly hotel. Front desk personnel were very friendly and welcoming. The pool is very nice, but a little small when there are a lot of guests utilizing the pool. There was a nice variety of breakfast options from eggs to waffles to cereal, coffee, tea with a variety of juices, etc. We had reserved a room requesting a bath tub with grab bars. When we confirmed our reservation with the hotel directly, the hotel associate assured us there were a few grab bars in the tub area.There were not. There was only one on the far wall. This made getting in and out of the tub a little precarious. We were only staying a few days so we made do. If our stay was going to be a little longer, we probably would have asked to switch to another room that would accommodate our needs better. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel if you are going to be in or around the Pittsburgh area."

"The breakfast every morning was a great bonus. The rooms were clean and quiet. Location was perfect to shoppung and dining. The price was great. Our only issue was that housekeeping didn't get to our room a couple days and we had to ask for clean towels. (Which were promptly supplied so all good) i would book again for sure."

"I brought my mom and dad and originally asked for a 2 queen bed room but then asked for a handicap room for my mom.. ended up with a king. 3 in one bed did not work out. I got a cot, worked much better. Upon arrival, the refrigerator was warm. And no microwave. The hand held shower did not work so I was unable to help my mom shower. Only the overhead shower worked. Asked about it the next morning as well as fixing rhe fridge and asking for a microwave. Dad took a shower and I noticed A LOT of water in the foyer that leaked from the shower (level floor for wheelchair use) so beware of that or put a lot of towels down near the bathroom door. The upper shower head faces the door instead of thw other way around. Poorly designed. Other than that, our stay was great. The room was comfortable and the staff was great and very accommodating to our needs."
