"I booked this cottage due to its high rating in Expedia. However, my experience was not as good as other same price range hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka. There was about 20 flies welcoming us that took hours to get rid of them. The facility it self is not bad but needs more effort in maintaining the facility and welcoming the guest. "We had a lovely night at Tathya Hills - the staff were very helpful regarding our travel plans and also gave very good food recommendations. The room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed and a clean spacious bathroom. Location wise everywhere we wanted to go was within a short Tuk Tuk ride or walk."

"We stayed just for a night as a stopover drive from arugam bay to Ahungalla. We had the family room which has two bedrooms, one with 2× double bed and the other 1x double bed. Had a fridge/freezer and a living room. No air conditioning but wasn't needed as the weather was already cold in nuwara Eliya. Breakfast included offered western (sausages, toasted bread and eggs)or srilankan food (dosa, sambal, eggs). Offered fruita and juice. Great location very high up on the mountain with a nice view of looking down."

"The location of this resort is stunning, just beautiful. The service is superb. The food is amazing. And the cottage itself was tastefully recreated. We enjoyed walking the tea trails - just expect to make an effort on the plantation hills. We also relaxed and enjoyed the hotel every afternoon. They will do anything to make your stay as perfect as possible. It was an ideal stay for us. "
