Hotels near Shields Date Garden

"The stay wasn't too bad. We did find some dead roaches behind the bed, and it seems like they were dead for awhile. I hope they do a deep clean and get rid of them. Also the tv didn't work, but it wasn't a big deal. Some people complained about the mildew smell, but honestly, once you turned on the AC, and have the room cool, you don't notice smell. The AC worked fine, minus it being loud, but you learned how to tuned it out. The fridge in the room was nice and worked perfectly, and so was the microwave! The bathroom was actually nice, the water pressure for the shower was good! The staffs were nice, and parking small. Overall, it was a place to sleep, so it wasn't too bad. "

"I suppose this is considered a boutique hotel, but based on my stay, the Chateau has problems. The TV did not work, the wifi did not work, the drapes would not fully close (ripped), the toilet seat was loose, the linens & shower accessories were cheap, plumbing and/or HVAC rattled in the ceiling all night, and there was no number/extension on the phone to contact the front desk. Not a do-over."
