"The cabin is in a great location right by the resort. It does need some attention though as the rooms are freezing and there were no space heaters. The big heater only heats the hallway and kitchen so bring something to keep warm at night in the bedrooms. The shower barely works, most of the water fills the tub and doesn’t come out of the shower head. Also there is very limited hot water so if you have more than 2 people staying here showering can be time consuming while you wait for the heater...

The linens smelled of perfume and not cleaned. We didn’t have enough towels and had to wash after one shower. When I called cool cabins and asked for a refund they didn’t want to communicate with me. "We had a nice stay at Lagonita Lodge for one night. The property is a little older, but it’s well maintained and has a cozy mountain charm with rustic furnishings that fit the Big Bear setting perfectly. The lakefront location is beautiful, with gorgeous views of the lake. The sleeper sofas could use new mattresses, and the bathrooms could benefit from some updating, but overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would stay here again."
