Lovely rooms, very modern and comfortable. Stsff were very accomodating and friendly. Food was great. Only complaint is that rooms were quite hot, but most rooms had 2 fans provided so was fine.

I stayed at The George Townhouse as I was attending a wedding at nearby Blackwell Grange. The hotel understood about the wedding timings and facilitated a smooth check in process. My room was superb with a good sized bed and beautiful roll top bath. What made my stay was the service of the staff and how they went out of their way to accommodate any needs I had. Service was good for breakfast and check out was easy. Simon and Sharon who were the staff were welcoming and made the stay. I would now like to return again to stay for longer and explore the area. Thank you so much - an excellent experience!

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The building was well preserved and maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar area for breakfast, late afternoon refreshments and an evening dinner. The only negative was how cold it got up in the attic room. I’d stay again but I’d choose a different room.

Stayed here for a family wedding nearby. The rooms were lovely and cozy and the staff were exceptional and did everything they could to accommodate our large family party. We also ate here one evening and the food was very good. Highly recommend this place should you want accommodation in Shipston-On-Stour.
