"Dont compare the surrounding area with the hotel itself. The hotel is very nice and clean. its like a block away from the JR Hakata Station and maybe 10 minutes taxi ride from the Fukuoka International Airport. I should have done more homework on places in the vicinity to eat at. Right next door out of the hotels from entrance is a LAWSONS. Theres a bunch of eateries at the JR Hakata Station. The hotel staff was accomodating."
