Very unique beautiful old hotel made up of several converted homes. We were in the Chateau Bauduc Suite which was very large with a very comfortable bed and a separate door that opened up to a beautiful courtyard. The service was excellent and the food was great. There is no air conditioning and our windows opened up to a public space so it was uncomfortably warm until the public space cleared out and we could open the door and all of the windows. The shower had trouble draining but not a huge issue. We had mixed feelings about this hotel but overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it in cooler weather.

Literally next to Central Station so location was excellent. Gym is great. Room was tiny, and we couldn’t get the TV to stay off - we’d switch it off with the remote, and five minutes later it would flick on with a white screen illuminating the room while we were trying to sleep. Fine place to stay.

I never received upgrade or 20% off food and beverage. It wasn’t even mentioned at checkin. I ask for the 20% off beverage when getting a drink at the bar but alcohol is excluded??

"The corridors carpets and decor ready for a face lift but realise what a cost that would be. Glad we upgraded to a sea view, watching the world go by was entertaining. We ate one evening in the restaurant, no problems."

The reception area is nice with modern furnishings and views of the lake, the breakfast was tasty and also had nice views, the bar is nice to have in case you want a drink!
