"Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon."

"Hotel location was very good and the staff were very nice and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean but the walls are thin so you can hear adjoining TVs and voices. It's worth packing some earplugs if you like an earlyish bed time."
