We spent our last 4 nights in Siem Reap at this hotel, chosen for its high rating, pool & gym. The rooms are apartment style, so extremely spacious, well appointed and clean. Location wise it’s in a quiet lane with not a lot to do, so you will always need to get transport (Tuk Tuk or PassApp) to go anywhere. Not a real problem as it’s $2 pretty much anywhere. Local dining options within walking distance were limited, however I can recommend the food at the hotel, the breakfast menu is quiet extensive and we had several lunches in our room all of which were delicious. All the staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. I would like to single out Rattana for his “can do attitude” & wonderful smile. The hotel is relatively new & my only real negatives would be on the overall cleanliness of the stairwell, windows, gym and pool area. It still looks like a construction site, concrete splatters all over the glass balastrating enclosing the pool, dirty pool side showers & toilets, dirty mirrors in the gym, stairwell floors need washing daily, not just sweeping. These are things that are easy to rectify you just need somone in charge with a keen eye for detail. It appeared to me the female cleaners only cleaned the rooms, not the common areas, perhaps their duties should be extended.
