"I was loved this place. It looked amazing and had great reviews. But, when I arrived it was a big excellent surprise even more special. I literally wanted to move in & live there. And the staff and owners are super cool, incredibly kind, fun, and helpful. I rarely return to exact same place. "what an awesome place tucked away, even the drive on the small gravel road was exciting to get there. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. would defiantly be going back there, my two young girls absolutely loved the place it was so peaceful and tranquil. we didn't stay in the glamping tents but our two bedroom villa was better than expected, everything we needed! "

"We recommend this resort to anyone wishing to find some relaxing time in lovely surroundings. A great location, choose to stay and chill around the resort and private beach or just a short ride to other amenities. The accommodation is clean and spacious and very comfortable. The staff are outstanding and Dini goes beyond her role to make everyone happy, such wonderful genuine hospitality. We will certainly be going back here in the future !! 😊"

"Very very basic hotel at the airport. We stayed here as our flight was a 6 am. The room was very small and noisy, dining options were very poor and the food was not great. They have a bar but you can’t get a glass of wine. Would not recommend based on our experience."

"Bin seit 2019 jedes Jahr 1-2 mal in diesem Hotel. Und die Aussicht auf die Kieler Förde ist einzigartig schön. Vorausgesetzt, man leistet sich die Kategorie Superior aufwärts. Und es gibt noch einen echten Zimmerservice. Welches Hotel hat das noch? (Liebe Maritim Geschäftsführung, bitte, bitte beibehalten!) Das hat mich zu einem Stammgast gemacht, sobald ich in der Nähe von Kiel bin. Das Hotel selbst ist 1972 zur Olympiade in Deutschland gebaut worden. Das hat Charme, der nicht jeden Geschmack...

"Decent place to stay, bed is comfortable and the rooms are small. Hot shower and western toilet in the room. The price includes breakfast which was very simple but good. It’s about 10 minutes drive from central Sembalun so keep that in mind as there are not many places to eat nearby. Overall if you’re looking for a place to stay and rest up for a cheap price I could recommend."

"The inn is located around wonderful rice fields and with views to mount Rinjani. The rooms are basic, and the owner and stuff gives you a friendly service with tips around the area and offering a wide range of plates at the restaurant, which is located over their fish ponds. "

"We had a beautiful stay at the Origin Lombok. The pool area was stunning and felt Tranquil and idilyic. There were great food options and was to a high standard. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is a 10minute drive to the main town, the reception team were on hand to order us taxi’s. Would reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Lombok. "

"The hotel itself was really good. It's very quiet, and the room is excellent for the price you pay. However, it's a long walk into town, and the area around it is under construction, so outside the hotel itself is rather dirty. But overall, I liked it very much."

"The views from Lobster Bay are stunning. We have never experienced such a breathtaking sunset. It was amazing! On the other hand you must realize that there is not much to do in the environment."

"Might've been a nice play to stay a few years back but I think covid was a bit hard on this place - falling apart and doesn't look much like the photos - it's pretty dead. Breakfast not included despite what it says on the listing - kitchen not a thing - only staff were a couple of teenagers who didn't really seem to know what was going on. Lots of wildlife in the rooms if you like that sort of thing - my foot went through the floor of the bungalow I was staying in at one point. Had paid...

"This is a very lovely and with great staff. The room was really nice with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very good too. My room was upstairs and it was away from everything which felt a bit unusual. Breakfast was nice but very limited range. They use personal WhatsApp ads a way to communicate which I thought was a great idea. My main concern was the location I didn’t like it as it was isolated from the main area and in an area that was very local. It also had a lot of motorcycle noise from the race track. And the dining area is weird no one seems to use I they all eat in their room and so the place really had little vibe. By the way the pool is huge and I enjoyed that. "

"Breathtaking Location, Warm Staff – But Needs Improvement in Comfort and Value Jiva Baluam is set in a truly stunning location nestled in a secluded bay with a private beach that feels like your own paradise. The natural beauty is overwhelming, and the bungalows are located right on the sand. It’s a place where you can fully disconnect and enjoy nature. However, the resort is very remote – there are no alternative dining options within 30 minutes, so you’re fully dependent on the in-house restaurant. Unfortunately, the food quality doesn’t justify the high prices. The Indonesian breakfast (like Nasi Goreng) was okay, but the Western breakfast was quite disappointing in both taste and presentation. The resort has been around for over ten years and is beginning to show signs of age. Some renovations would definitely enhance the guest experience. The bungalows are charming, but not well-equipped: there’s no fridge, which is a real downside given the isolation, especially since cold drinks from the restaurant are very expensive. Also, there’s no kettle – as an early riser, I found it frustrating that I couldn’t have tea or coffee until the restaurant opened at 8 a.m. On the bright side, the staff are wonderfully kind and helpful, and the WiFi is excellent surprisingly strong for such a remote location. In summary, Jeeva Baluam offers a magical natural setting and warm hospitality, but it would benefit greatly from thoughtful upgrades and a more guest-friendly infrastruct,"

"Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend This hotel was by far the worst of the five we stayed at during our time in Bali. We booked a deluxe pool room, but instead of a nice pool view, we were stuck looking at an unused, dirty pool. While they did have another pool that was in better condition, it felt frustrating to have been placed in a room overlooking such an unappealing sight. There were multiple issues throughout our stay. Our check-in was delayed by 30 minutes, and the room quality was very basic, with a run-down bathroom that was far from acceptable. For a hotel with high reviews, the poor room and bathroom conditions were shocking. The service was equally disappointing. We ordered food and drinks, but the drinks were forgotten, and when I raised this, there was no follow-up. The assistant initially offered to waive our lunch bill as an apology for the issues, but later changed it to drinks only. At checkout, I was surprised to see that I was still being charged for the drinks, and it took them another 5 minutes to sort it out after I questioned the bill. To add to the confusion, I was told one price for a taxi to the airport, but when we checked out, the hotel charged me a lower price. I questioned this, and they insisted it was correct. However, during the ride to the airport, the driver received a phone call saying we had underpaid. This was very frustrating, especially since the confusion was entirely on the hotel's end. Overall, the service was poor"
