"Nous sommes restés deux nuits dans cet hôtel, le lendemain de notre arrivée, la chambre à été faite. Enfin quand je dis la chambre, je veux dire, le lit fait, une seule serviette pour 2,il a fallu que je réclame une autre serviette et le tapis de bain, le pire c'est qu'à notre retour en fin de journée, la porte n'était pas fermée à clé. "This is a gorgeous boutique hotel right by a thriving cafe and restaurant area, so perfectly situated for those who want to explore Angouleme. The breakfast was fresh with lots of choices, and I absolutely loved having long, lazy breakfasts in the courtyard. Staff are friendly and helpful, the bedrooms are small but stylish, with lovely toiletries from Nuxe. The air conditioning is barely noticeable, so we were lucky we missed the really heatwave!I will definitely return. "

"Fabulous location and just next door was a wonderful restaurant, le Francois, but they were so under-staffed, the waiters literally ran through the restaurant to serve the people on the little deck in front of it and sitting out under the lights in the center of a square. The parking garage was tiny and intense. We felt certain that we must have gone into the wrong one. It was like someone's personal basement. We were deliberating on what to do and the nice young man at the front desk saw us and showed us where to park. It was a little disconcerting for him to tell us that he goes off duty at 7, so we needed to remember the code to get back in, but it worked. Our room was completely pink - walls and doors. Our room was over the next door restaurant so we heard kitchen noise, but it wasn't bad. There was no A/C and the day had gotten a little warm, so we wanted to suck in as much cool air as we could before we closed the window."
