Our weekend stay at the Birchwood Lodge was wonderful! The staff were welcoming. The facilities were cozy and clean, all done up in winter and holiday decorations. It was our first time in Door County during the winter and we will definitely consider going to the Birchwood Lodge next time.

Really love this place! It is cute 🥰 First time at Door County, Sister Bay and I’m glad we stay there, staff very friendly and welcoming, map very understandable, I live that our room had a hot tub and a fire place ☺️
Second floor has a small place to sit and have a coffee with the person that you love and a bookshelf 😍
Pool very spacious and hot tub very warm just hot tus bubbles were not working 🙃

The Birchwood Lodge was a nice choice for staying in sister Bay Wisconsin. We enjoyed the spacious room our room overlooked the pool on the second floor and there is also plenty of other amenities available on property. We would stay here again.

Smelly Stay

First of all the hallway outside our room smelled of a dead mouse or rodent, i know the smell and thats what it smelled like. Then our room smelled of foot odor. Our room was very outdated, but we knew this when we booked. The ice machine was out of order the first night. The 2nd night the pop machine was out of pepsi. The tv is up too high for viewing and was only a 32 inch. Definately would not stay there again. I would give it 2 out of 5 stars, only because it had a whirlpool tub and decent AC.

We loved our stay. The room was perfect! Second-floor rooms are all ground level because they are built into a hillside. We were able to walk out the patio door to the parking lot area, and to the left was the fantastic pool area. We were able to take a short walk to the downtown area. Also, just across the parking lot, a short walk to the grocery store. We will send our family and friends here.
