"Set on a working farm in beautiful countryside with far reaching views. The property was lovely & clean & contained everything needed for a relaxing stay. A very comfortable bed, a lovely shower with plenty of hot water & the property was lovely & warm. There was plenty if onsite parking.
Whilst we didn’t need to contact the hosts we knew they were close should we have need them. Lovely welcome pack on arrival.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will certainly return if we visit this area in the...

"Lovely cottage with all the amenities that we required. Situated in a quiet village within close proximity of Penrith.
Nice welcome box with tea, coffee etc and even treats for the dog.
Good offroad parking at the back of the cottage and an enclosed front garden.
Stayed for a week, excellent location for exploring Hadrians wall, lake district and yorkshire dales.

"Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen (everything you could possibly need). It was like a home from home. The only slight negative was that the beds were very soft, but that's just personal preference.
Whitbarrow village itself was very well maintained with a lovely bar/restaurant area. We would definitely return."

"Couldn't fault it in anyway, very well laid out with everything you would need, really comfortable & cosy. We were staying in Daisy Cottage, Daisy the Cow was the theme throughout which made our stay even more delightful. Thank you Phil & Linda Woods for a wonderful holiday."

"Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes. "

"Nice clean refurbished superior king room, welcoming staff, good breakfast, easy parking. All you need plus a good nights sleep in a quiet location. Excellent value for the price paid. Looking forward to coming back soon."
"Great location at the heart of Carlisle and close to cathedral and castle, perfect for sightseeing. Lovely to stay in a historic hotel that’s beautifully maintained and looked after. Gorgeous high ceilings, stained glass, marble and wood panelling, so much better than modern hotels where everything is plastic. Perfect for a weekend break."
"This property was pretty much all that we needed for our stay.
Everything about it was perfect for us.
The room was exceptionally clean as were the public areas. From the moment of checking in until we left the whole visit was perfect.
The person at reception informed us that they had to only recently taken over the property and it was obvious that they are doing some fantastic upgrading work to the rooms as well as the public areas. It is a lovely venue and I would highly recommend it."
"The hotel is lovely, well situated and very clean.
Staff were few but very pleasant
Spa was ok, but pool not very big
Food was high quality and well presented
Booked on line for restaurant, but no record of bookings when we checked in.
All in all 7out of 10"
