"The setting for this hotel is as good as it gets, set on cliff tops overlooking a wonderful sandy beach below. Staff were great, food excellent, strangely, catch of the day was well priced but steak and pork chop overpriced. Our room was wonderful but lacked air-conditioning, was west facing and we were there in another 30 degree plus heatwave, but a fan sufficed. Outdoor pool was excellent but weather so good we didn't get to the spa. Simple to charge the EV , some roads are scary narrow but...

"Outstanding. Stunning harbour views. Laid-back feel with friendly staff. Love the fact they don't mind you using the dining room for a takeaway and you can check in well before the usual 3-4pm, allowing you to make more of the arrival day. A bit of maintenance required (window catches, shower) but such a good place to stay it somehow doesn't matter..."

While the walk into Dartmouth was more than just a gentle stroll, it was a great way to work up an appetite for the town’s restaurants and cafes. We found enough to keep us occupied in Dartmouth and only felt the need to use our car on a rainy day."
