"Lovely stay! Staff was super friendly, breakfast and dinner were excellent also, all home made and a lot of variety. We were lucky enough to have a room with a seaside view, we really felt like we were on a boat, amazing! I’d highly recommend this place of you ever go to Kalmar! "

"This was one of the nicest hotels I've been in and we travel a LOT. So many little things they've perfected. Breakfast was fantastic and they didn't rush anyone which we see in many other Swedish hotel breakfasts. Some may not like the tiny wee showers. Next time we'll book a hot tub! So close to centrum and the castle. "

"Parking is limited especially on weekends. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options and is included in the price. Property is located across tge street from their pedestrian shopping street, and has a Coop open late at night a block away. Not sure what normal rooms look like, as I was assigned one of the accessible ones. It was moderately specious with a large bathroom. One draw back, we got unlucky with a fire alarm scare during breakfast rush hour, and the staff didn't look trained on what to do in these circumstances. "
