"Stayed here with my son for a trip to hike the summit and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond, even allowing us a late checkout so we could complete our hike after bad weather the day before. Breakfast was amazing!! Great views and a stone throw away from the village. Perfect location and excellent service—would definitely stay again."

They go above and beyond to try and make your stay and visit to Thredbo special.. they let me gloves a hat and a toque to go up the mountain with – God did I ever need it! "It was raining hard and snow on the alps so very beautiful scenery. The stars at reception and in restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit, nuts, cereal, cooked breakfast, pastries, hot drinks. I could go on. I’m sure in-season the place will be buzzing and amenities open so will Come back. "

"The hotel is an old one that needs some maintenance and updating. Rooms are small and as others have mentioned one can hear complete conversations of your neighbors. On the plus side, the staff were friendly, and helpful, the food was great and it is located within walking distance to the Summit and Main Range trek. It is the only hotel open in the summer season in Charlotte Pass. All in all I would stay again. "
