Stayed 3 nights but room/towels/bedding were not refreshed - room was generally clean otherwise. Bed not comfortable but the room was warm and cosy. The hotel was well located as it was central and functional for excursions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Main restaurant ok but found better dining externally.

What a winter wonderland. Not commercial just a comfortable stay with great staff and homely rooms that are stylish yet make you feel at home. Big window in room for possibility of seeing northern lights and in room sauna. Great breakfast but limited vegetarian options on dinner menu. I will stay here again

I like the location away from bustling city and the hotel is very peaceful. The service are excellent with free flow of water at the lobby. There is NONE that I did not like about this hotel.

Awesome hotel staff who are super friendly. Fireplace keeps you really warm! Hotel is convenient and just opposite lapland safari office.

Incredible Christmassy hotel with such caring and friendly staff going above and beyond to help you - especially the weekend staff. Picked this hotel despite it being so far away from Rovaniemi because we were hoping to have more chance of seeing the northern lights. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see them and there’s a real issue with the transport service. Not regular enough shuttle service and it doesn’t drop off at Santa Claus Village or Santa Park so we had to go through a massive back and forth with the driver to try and sort this and because the times are so infrequent we ended up having to get a taxi more than once - SO expensive and while the weekend staff arranged them for us on a meter at roughly €150 the weekday staff prebooked them for €263... which was a horrendous rip off! Despite us trying to explain the difference in price the weekday staff weren’t willing to budge on this which wasn’t very good. There were flaws with the location and the transport issues , but this took nothing away from the beauty and the atmosphere of this beautiful hotel. Would definitely recommend it.

Charming little hotel with a christmas-y feel
Stayed two nights in this charming hotel and everything was perfect, from hotel service to comfort of rooms. Nested near the Luosto National Park, it provides a good Aurora alarm service.

Lovely staff and great location to hiking trails
The staff here really go above and beyond to make sure your stay is really wonderful. Dinner is also superb although priced accordingly. The rooms are exceptional with fire place and sauna. Really loved my stay!!! Will definitely be back.

We took part in the Luosto Classic Festival which has been organized for 15 years in the Pyhä-Luosto area in eastern Lapland, Finland. The concerts are organized either outdoors in the nature with direct contact with the nature, or indoors in various entities such as small churches or chappels, and all of them create a memorable atmosphere as such. This event takes place during the second week of August each year.

Odotin jotain freesimpää, mutta vastassa oli vanha
Kuvat antoivat odottaa enemmän, kuin itse kohde oli paikan päällä. Hotelli käytävä haisi vanhalle. Huone oli kolkko, koska yhtään mattoa ei ollut lattialla. Sängyn vanhat, matalat ja petivaatteet ohueksi kuluneet. TV pieni ja joko säädöt tummalla tai näkyväisyys huono. Yölamppu ”putoili” jatkuvasti lamppupuoli Alaspäin. Lampussa oli jotkin säätimet, mutta ei pysynyt vaikka kiristettiin niistä. WC -paperiteline myös heilui ja oli irti. Aamiainen ihan ok. Ei mitään erityismaininta, mutta tarjolla oli tarvittava. Pettymys kokonaisuudessaan. Ainut peukku respalle, joka oli oikein ystävällinen ja antoi huoneen aikaisemmin. Kiitos siitä 👍

Wir waren auf Honeymoon in der Unterkunft. Das Hotel ist eher ein Active Hotel mit Skipiste nebenan. Die Zimmer leider etwas älter als sie auf den Fotos aussehen. Frühstück war sehr gut und Personal super freundlich. Verglichen aber mit den anderen Santa-Hotels leider etwas schlechter.

Muy caro para lo que realmente es, habitación antigua con calefacción la cual mete olor a humo y quemado dentro de la habitación, tuvimos que abrir la ventana con -6º fuera, mucho ruido en los pasillos, la gente ni respeta y desde las 6 de la mañana se escuchan gritos y golpes, un punto a favor es el aparcamiento que puedes cargar tu coche si tienes enchufe de pared, además si quieres que te limpien la habitación tienes que pedirlo, no tienen servicio diario , la atención es inmejorable por parte del personal y la comida estaba muy buena aunque nos pareció extremadamente cara, muy buena ubicación para ver auroras

Huone oli mukavan kokoinen, ihanaa että tässä hotellissa ei ole iltaelämäravintolaa. Hiljaista oli öisin, sai nukkua hyvin. Aamupala oli klo 8-10. Se oli riittävä ja runsas. Oli eri hedelmiä, erilaista leipää, jugurttia, muroja, erilaisia kaloja, mehua, puuroa, kansnmunia jne. Toki siinä näkyi, ettei arkena ollut yöpyjiä paljoa. (Mutta hyvähän se on edellisen aamun tuotteita tarjota aamupalalla, koska eihän ne ole miksikään mennyt) Palvelu oli hyvää, omalla avaimella liikuttiin ovista, päivällä respa oli kiinni. Ehdottomasti täällä yövytään uudellen, jos Luostolle mennään.

Vastaanoton henkilökunta todella mukavaa ja asiakaspalveluhenkistä, tilat siistit ja ravintolan ruoka todella hyvää. Hotellihuone oli todella siisti. Mutta huoneeseen kuuluu sitten aivan kaikki äänet käytävästä, olimme saaneet seinänaapuriksi jonkun jolla oli koira ja joka ravasi koko yön ulkona. Koira haukkui, käytävässä kuului askeleet ja käytävän ovi paukkui, koko yön. Ymmärrän jos hotelli on lemmikkiystävällinen, mutta olisi kiva kun tuollaisessa paikassa missä näköjään kaikki äänet kuuluvat, koiralliset majoittujat majotettaisiin johonkin muualle kun juuri jonkun seinänaapuriksi. Hotellissa ei kuitenkaan montaa majoittujaa ollut niin tilaa varmasti olisi ollut. Heikon äänieristyksen takia en yöpyisi uudelleen.

Hei, Kiitos palautteestasi ja olemme todella pahoillamme, että näin on käynyt juuri teille. Normaalisti koiran kanssa liikkuvat ovat hyvin asiallisia ja koirat opetettu olemaan hiljaa hotellihuoneissa. Meillä on hotellissa muutamia koirahuoneita keskikerroksen ja alakerran päätyhuoneissa, joista ulosmeno lemmikin kanssa on mahdollisimman helppoa. Tiettyjä huonetyyppejä on hotellissa vain rajallinen määrä 2-3 ja sen vuoksi aina sijoittelu pois lemmikkihuoneen vierestä ei onnistu. Viestissä ei ollut mainintaa mikä huone oli kyseessä eikä myöskään päivää, joten tältä osin emme voi koirahuoneessa olijaa informoida ilmoitetusta häiriöstä. Olemme todella pahoillamme aiheutuneesta häiriöstä ja yritämme parantaa toimintatapojamme tältä osin. Ystävällisin terveisin, Hotelli Auroran henkilökunta

Kuuma kesäyö
Poikkeuksellisen kuumanalesänä huone todella kuuma, onneksi saimme tuulettimen hotellilta, joka helpotti hieman. Saunassa ei käyty em syystä 😀 Aamiainen oli niukka, mutta riittävä. Varmasti upea paikka varsinaisena sesonkina talvella.

Osittain kiva, mutta ei jatkoon kesällä
Tämä on pienempi hotelli ja sijaitsee hiljaisessa paikassa lähellä Luoston Porttia, mistä lähtee useita vaelluspolkuja. Huone oli siisti, äänieristys vaikutti hyvältä ja huoneen sauna plussaa, mutta ilmanvaihdossa oli jotain vikaa eikä ilmastointia ole. Saimme ensin ensimmäisen kerroksen huoneen, missä oli n. 28c lämmintä ja niin tunkkainen sisäilma että meidän oli pakko vaihtaa huonetta (enkä ole näille tietääkseni erityisen herkkä, en ole aiemmin vaihtanut tästä syystä huonetta). Sitten saimme ylimmän kerroksen huoneen, mikä oli parempi, mutta vielä lämpimämpi (28-30 c). Ulkona oli viileämpi ilma sateen vuoksi toisena päivänä, mutta huonetta on hankala tuulettaa koska pieni ikkuna ei aukea kunnolla, joten se ei auta. Ensimmäinen huone ei vaikuttanut terveelliseltä, ja toinen huone olisi ollut ok motellibudjetilla (esim. alle 50 e), mutta tällä hinnalla ei. Kannattaa ainakin kuumana kesänä katsoa toista majoituspaikkaa jos haluaa nukkua kunnolla, koko Luoston ja Pyhän (n. 20 min ajomatkan päässä) alueella pitäisi olla valinnanvaraa!!

Viihtyisä ja omanlainen
Huone oli erittäin viihtyisä ja harmooninen ja vaikka sauna oli pieni, ilmanvaihto niin hyvä joten siellä viihtyi pidempääkin. Omanlainen, paikallinen aamupala erittäin mukava vaihtelu normi hotelliaamiaisille.
