Having stayed ther over 3 years on of very disappointing receptionists never there,the room looked like its had damged door to bathroom constent flushing toilet shower flooding. No tv remote took 2 hours kettle not working curtains hanging down on one side so light coming in at night.

Life in Bulgaria is very difficult and to run business in Bulgaria is very difficult. Hotel is in excellent location near to bus train station have near underground or Metro which is cheap and excellent connection to everywhere and to the airport. Breakfast was excellent. Only one think I would like to suggest is to have towels in the room not to ask for them . For me as a Bulgarian who leave not in Bulgaria and travel around the world I can say hotel is tree star hotel and definitely I can rate three star hotel. Would I stay again YES. My review was only my honest opinion and I hope to help another people also to make their decisions.

Hard to find
We didn't end up staying there, because there was a problem with the room. So they sent us to the hotel around the corner (where we were in fact very comfortable). The hotel was very difficult to find. There is a big red sign on the corner; you follow that to similar big red sign on a parking lot gate, that says "Aris Hotel and Restaurant Reception". Haul the suitcases up 4 steps and down 3 to get to the entrance, then up 2 and down 3 to get to reception. . . whereupon they tell us that actually the hotel is back on the other side of the road! I must say, though, that the (real) receptionist was extremely helpful in getting us settled into another hotel. We had breakfast at Aris, and it was good.

Mixed bag, would not return
We had a late check in and something went wrong with the generation of the access code. Can happen, but negative is that contact number did not work and we ended up going to another hotel for the first night. The breakfast is weird. The hotel does not provide despite having a restaurant attached. You are then sent to one 500 meters away, despite others being closer… Looks very unprofessional, it would be more honest to not offer the breakfast option at all.

The expedia listing is wrong. No free breakfast. Not even tea or coffee in reception. Broken A/C unit and staff was unwilling to find a fan or order repairs, or relocate. Room Temperature was over 34 degrees C. Cockroach alive and on its back greeted us in the morning. Sewage smells from bathroom drains permeated bedroom. Yet place was full of clients based on rates and perhaps misrepresentation by listing in expedia. Desk staff is not empowered to provide service to customers.

A good value for money hotel
The Aris is a good hotel, It is quite modern, staff are friendly, it is central, there are plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. The only thing thing I didn't like was the minimalist fitted sheet which kept coming off the bed during the night. The hotel is exceptional value

Sofia visit.
The hotel is situated about 10 mins walk from city centre. Quiet and very clean hotel. Breakfast ok but not memorable. Staff were always friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

the customer service was very good but I disagree with one if thier policies. one night I was very tired and just wanted to get something to eat and relax in my room. when I ordered I thought I made it clear I wanted to take food to my room. when the food came out they told me I couldn't take food to room and had to sit there to eat. the front desk girls and everybody seemed to provide great service but this made my stay alot less comfortable.

Will stay again!
The staff were friendly and helpful the bar and Resturuant were clean and the food and coffee were very good. Breakfast was good and ad some variety but is the same every morning. Beautiful outdoor patio with flowers and coverings for the sun. For the money it s a great place to stay

Nice hotel close to the bus station
The hotel was nice and close to the bus station as we were transiting through Sofia. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Clean room and bathroom. Very good value for money.

Lovely Hotel
Well priced, and excellent breakfast. Very fast WiFi and clean room. Only negative comment was that the combined bath/shower didn't have a shower screen, so it was virtually impossible to keep the entire bathroom dry!!

Hotel with good location
Hotel was good with very friendly and helpful staff. Location was good. One of shower screen in the shower cubicle was broken and was not replaced. Did bring to the attention of the staff but apparently they were waiting for a replacement. Having a shower was a bit difficult by trying not to splash water everywhere whilst showering. Would like a room replacement. Breakfast was very basic.

Good Value Hotel Near Train Station
The staff was always very friendly if not necessarily in possession of answers to my questions. For the price, the room was very good value and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the main train station and bus stations on the one hand and only a short walk to the attractions of central Sofia on the other. A little annoying that the fridge in my room was not working, and when I inquired into it I was told that the hotel was about to replace it, and that was that.

Nice, small and friendly hotel.
This is a nice, small and quiet hotel, about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Sofia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fairly comfortable and had a little balcony. The breakfast was ok.

Excellent location.
Sofia is a big city with lots of hotels, some not so good, but hotel Aris is clean, modern, centrally located, near to all the tourist sites, and local and international transport. With its freindly staff, and scrumptious breakfast, it's must.

Nice stay at Hotel Aris
It's a very good Hotel... the personal is very friendly, really nice people... the room is nice and clean... we had a tasty dinner in the restorant of the hotel, acceptable prices...the buffet breakfast is also good...good service also...would reccomend this hotel and I would come back again for sure.

Awesome hotel
I am delighted to be the first to summit a review of this hotel. My stay was excellent. breakfast, WiFi, service were awesome for the price. located in residential area. Okay taxi from airport 15 Sofia money. Train 1 quid. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

L'esperienza non è stata molto positiva: camera piccola trovata non ben pulita... Il soggiorno è durato 5 notti e non ci è mai stata pulita 😢. Inoltre il 3' giorno è mancata l'acqua improvvisamente dalla mattina cogliendo uno di noi sotto la doccia... Eravamo un gruppo di 7 persone in 3 camere. Peccato perché la struttura non è male...

Wir haben in der Nähe ein wunderbares Lokal mit typischen bulgarischen Gerichten und im Folklorestill eingerichtet entdeckt. Ein Besuch dort ist sehr empfehlenswert. Ansonsten ist das Personal im Hotel sehr nett und das Angebot auf dem Frühstücksbüffet ist ausreichend.

Esperienza totalmente negativa. Dalle aspettative sembrava un buon albergo. Così non è stato! Camere sbagliate, dovevano darmi due matrimoniali ed invece me ne hanno data una…dal bagno proveniva un cattivo odore perenne, la finestra rotta quindi non si poteva uscire e nemmeno chiudere. La notte nei paraggi musica alta fino quasi al mattino. Colazione solo salata, macchina del caffè rotta, finestra rotta quindi si fa la colazione con i giubbini d’estate, al gelo. La pulizia della camera bisognava chiuderla ogni mattina, asciugamani dovuti di diritto erano meno del previsto, unico! Carta igienica da chiedere ogni giorno. Devo aggiungere altro? Preferisco di no

Så slitet och gammalt hotel. 3 stjärnor absolut inte. Okey för 1 natt men inte mer. Badrummet stank mögel och vattnet ran inte ner i avlippet så det blev en pool i badrummet. Sängsr ok i övrigt inget bra. Frukost ok.
