낡고 바랜듯한, 왕년에 고급이었을 옛 호텔 체험

1970년대 말에 지어진 오래된 건물. 아마도 80년에는 고급 호텔이었을 듯 하다. 낡고 바랜듯한 80년대 영화속 옛 호텔 같은 분위기 이다. 객실 상태는 오래되었지만 가능한 깨끗하려고 노력한 것처럼 느껴졌고, 프론트 직원분은 친절했다. 아침, 창밖에 바로 길 건너 매우 가깝게 보이는 바다 풍경은 불편한 점들을 잊게 해준다.

현 수준에서는 최선을 다 한다는 느낌은 받았지만, 시설자체가 너무 낙후 되었음. 리모델링이나 최소한 도배나 도색이라도 하면 좋을 듯. 오션뷰도 좋고 직원들도 친절한데, 시설이 문제 임.

바다를 좋아해서 바다를 느끼려고 선택했는데... 방 테이블에 앉으면 바다도 보이지 않고, 문을 열면 자동차 소리에 파도소리조차 들리자 않음. 창틀 및 유리에 먼지도... 바닷가에 위치한 장점이 하나도 없음. 객실도 호텔이라고 하기엔 너무 열악함. 전체적으로 많이 부족한 호텔임.

아주 나쁘지는 않지만

후기를 보면 더럽다는 의견도 종종 보이는데 오래된 것과 더럽다는 다른 의미로 오래된 곳이라는데에는 한표~ 시설이 오래됨에 따라 몇가지는 개선이 필요하다 느낍니다. 첫째 문이 잘 안열립니다. 프론트에서 친절하게 알려주어 해결햇지만 근본적으로 개선되어야 한다 생각되네요. 둘째 냉장고 소음이 심합니다. 이부분도 개선하면 되리라 생각됩니다. 2층, 오션뷰에 숙박해서 뷰는 매우 괜찮고, 대포항도 도보로 갈만큼 가깝습니다. 점진적으로 오래된 집기들은 개선해야 하지 않을까 생각됩니다.
