"Only stayed for one night but was very happy! Very clean room and bathroom with lots of guest supplies/amenties which was lovely. Good WiFi, nice staff and close to subway station. Very comfortable stay! "
"Perfect structure. Room with every comfort. Excellent service and staff. The only "negative" note is the external noise that can be heard from inside the room. "
"Hotel is pretty new. I actually like the self service option. We didnt mind removing our own trash and grabbing towels for thr designated area. Our room was an executive room. There was plenty of room for my husband and I. There are so many restaurants, plenty of food options. Definitely a little different than an American hotel room. The shower was different...we like a separate shower from the tub area. But nonetheless it was fine. Overall an excellent stay at The Gleam! Will...

"After-hours check-in via kiosk can be confusing, unless you know your unique check-in code. I was never given the code so I called the motel’s # upon arrival, and, unbeknownst to us, there was a guy sleeping at the check-in counter (but with the shade pulled down so it looks as though they’re closed). He checked us in and gave us the receipt that printed out with the room #, but bc the previous guest who checked in didn’t claim his receipt, we ended up going to the wrong room and trying to enter, waking up the guests inside. Check-in could’ve been smoother…?
Parking looked plentiful, and the motel’s dining area is only open 10:00-22:00, so you’ll need to find breakfast elsewhere. However, the dining area is well stocked with a soda machine, ice cream freezer, coffee machine, and a variety of ramen.
Front desk will call you a taxi, if needed, and the staff are friendly but speak very limited English. I believe they offer free WiFi but due to the language barrier, I wasn’t sure how to connect?"
"I had a great experience at this hotel. I never saw a staff member either for check-in or check-out, but the hotel was easy to find.
The mirror was really dirty but other than that, the rest of the room was clean. The amenities are great and there is a free water machine which is great!
Will come again !"
