Would give it a try again

Interesting complex u are basically renting a room but it is very clean and modern but so so close to rail station At first sight u wonder what u have rented but then u fund u are close to everything Staff are very good

The staff is excellent and facilities are quite good especially for the price. The main issue we found was the walls are thin so you can hear other guests pretty clearly. The location is super convenient but you also get noise from commuters starting pretty early in the morning. It is a trade off but still a very good value overall.

This property was amazing and met all of our needs. The room was gorgeous and close to everything that we needed yet far enough away that it was quiet enough we could sleep with the window open. Chiara spoke English and was great to communicate through Whatsapp. The only flaw was that there was mold on the wall and in the bathroom shower and floor tiles. We when told the staff they were aware of this. I'm mentioning it here in hopes it will prompt them to do something about it. Minus that we would go back in a heartbeat!

Our visit to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast was amazing. The guest house is very roomy and the location is perfect in my opinion. Catarina helped us with some travel that was cancelled due to delayed flight, she helped us book a eondetful boat tour of Amalfi and Positano also. Top notch service from everyone at La Ferrovia Guest House. Also note, very, very close to train station and the bus station also 5 minute walk.

Overnight stay in Sorrentio

Modestly priced and superb value - lots of water, cheese, and basic breakfast materials included FOC in the refrigerator, and a generous supply of coffee and bread in a communal area. A .bit noisy from traffic but could not be handier for the train or bus from Naples, and ideal for a short stay. Reception opening times are limited but staff very helpful and we had communication via WhatsApp before we arrived at 9pm. What they don't know in English they make up for in helpfulness!

It was steps from the train station and bus stop yet we didn’t notice much traffic noise and it felt very safe. The staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable and much larger than we expected. Would recommend this place for sure.
