My husband and I loved everything about our 6d5n in Anantara Veli. I stayed for 1 night prior to a dive trip. This was my first stay in the Maldives. The island is spotless and magical, with the most pristine beach and crystal blue water. it is everything I always hoped the Maldives would be.I stayed in an overwater villa with a plunge pool..room 418. It faced north - there is a current and wind on this side of the island, not "lagoon like" at this time of year...January. There are a lot of activities to keep you occupied. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food at the eateries and restaurants are world class. The place has been extremely well maintained. Loved our stay

From the moment we arrived at the airport, having the airport lounge is very impressive considering it is only among the handful of resorts who has this facility. The resort is very beautiful and all the staff we met were very friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant staff and also all the other staff working tirelessly around the island. The over water villa we stayed in is very spacious and well designed with good space for the outdoor deck and a gorgeous tub in the restroom....

They have two type of accommodation in this Island. I'm staying at Kaani Village and Spa. The accommodation is very clean, conducive and peaceful with friendly, approachable staff that will always be there to assist you in meeting your needs and requirements. This accommodation is well furnished with small poll enough for you to deep and cool yourself after a long day at the beach. Food was presentable and acceptable for Asian taste.

Overall a great stay. Family Room is spacious. Didn't use the balcony much as it's facing the hotel interior. Although breakfast is not always hot, they make efforts to change main course daily. Ali who brought us on a snorkeling trip is professional & super friendly. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Michael for making the trip so special. The snokelling day trip and sunset fishing were really fun. Hotel is good too.
