Hotels with Bars / Lounges in South Male Atoll

Very friendly staff. Nice food. The villas are with great views.

I would describe this as a house boat pitched on a mini great barrier reef - with your own private sea view. Our turtle snorkelling was sensational with the marine team (professionals - free divers / biologist). Im not a confident sea swimmer and I was well cared for and had an anxious free time. We didn't need sun-loungers/pool/beach we had private sun-loungers/deck/ocean/house reef. The snorkelling from your own deck was so enticing - transparent water and plenty of marine...

My husband and I loved everything about our 6d5n in Anantara Veli. We've rated it 8/10, and 1 points went to the rooms that can have some face lifting and another 1 point is that the attitude of the staff at the aqua centre can be improved alot more. Apart from that, it's everything we needed for a relaxing holiday at Maldives. We booked the overwater bungalow, which was facing the pontoons that shuttle between Veli and Dhigu every few minutes, but we're not affected by it. We borrowed the...

Before I came, I was over worried about bringing my 10 month baby to males as there isn’t much infos available online. Upon arrival at Velassaru , all my worries are being thrown back. The speedboat transfer was just a 25mins, still a manageable transfer with my baby We were greeted by a representative at the jetty and they are really professional to make sure all your needs and requests are noted down. What is the most amazing part of this trips was that their executive Chef wasantha...

I stayed for 1 night prior to a dive trip. This was my first stay in the Maldives. The island is spotless and magical, with the most pristine beach and crystal blue water. it is everything I always hoped the Maldives would be.I stayed in an overwater villa with a plunge pool..room 418. It faced north - there is a current and wind on this side of the island, not "lagoon like" at this time of year...January. If you love the ocean, you probably don't need a plunge pool too, but if not that...

There are a lot of activities to keep you occupied. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food at the eateries and restaurants are world class. The place has been extremely well maintained. Loved our stay

From the moment we arrived at the airport, having the airport lounge is very impressive considering it is only among the handful of resorts who has this facility. The resort is very beautiful and all the staff we met were very friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant staff and also all the other staff working tirelessly around the island. The over water villa we stayed in is very spacious and well designed with good space for the outdoor deck and a gorgeous tub in the restroom....

They have two type of accommodation in this Island. I'm staying at Kaani Village and Spa. The accommodation is very clean, conducive and peaceful with friendly, approachable staff that will always be there to assist you in meeting your needs and requirements. This accommodation is well furnished with small poll enough for you to deep and cool yourself after a long day at the beach. Food was presentable and acceptable for Asian taste.

Thanks to Michael for making the trip so special. The snokelling day trip and sunset fishing were really fun. Hotel is good too.

It was an amazing stay in Arena Hotel at Maafushi. Appreciate the staff friendliness and hospitality. Food was also fantastic. Well done to all.

Outstanding to fantastic staffs attending to us during our stay.

- It's paradise in the Indian Ocean anywhere in Maldives, and we got a taste of it in Fihalholi! - Ocean water is pristine, beaches are covered with fine powdery sands, trees and greens are overflowing, complemented with the cleanliness that we believe were well maintained. - Excellent view of sunrise and sunset from the beach. - We saw many multi-colored fishes while snorkeling. - Room 12, where we stayed was just 30 seconds to 1 minute away from the beach. - Food was delicious; our...

Fantastic stay at Kaani Beach Hotel. The staff (Tiger, Kadir, Ammex, and the team) were hospitable and warm - they treated us like family! The people of Maafushi are the friendliest in the world. We had this guy called Kefu call us over just to show us baby sharks swimming by the beach. On one of the streets is an incredibly talented painter, Afu, who makes wonderful paintings. The only thing we were not used to was waiting for our meals. The kitchen cooks to the order, so expect to wait 30...
