"The evening that staff was incredibly rude. The place was very clean, rooms were nice. Dog friendly with dog park on property. Conveniently located directly off the exit. Breakfast was tasty"

"I wish I had read the fine print. I didn’t know that there was pretty much just valet parking out front. You can park across the street in the garage but street parking was difficult. We got breakfast vouchers every morning and breakfast stopped serving at 11 AM. When we wanted an extra cup of coffee after 11 every single time the waitress said she had poured it out. This was at about 1105 each time we had asked her. We didn’t have silverware or napkins on the table, we didn’t have sugar on the table, and our order was never written down and we had to make the order right whenever the food was brought out since it wasn’t written down, every single time.She never offered an extra cup or asked us if we wanted another drink. One night we got a charcuterie board. I couldn’t believe how little was put on it. It was a waste. We got an alcoholic drink every night for three nights, it was a small glass full of ice. We paid for pretty much for a half a glass of an alcoholic drinkat full price. The room was fine. The hotel was clean and in a good area. "

"You can pretty much tell that the hotel ia older. The elevator shook so hard it fel like it would hit the ground at any time. The room doors were very hard to open. One of our rooms had a bad ac. It barley worked, towels were rough feeling. Breakfast was sub par, i found a hair wrapped around ine of the eggs i got. Some equipment broken The lobby was nice. It would be nice for there to be somewhere to sit outside. The halls were never swept. The trash in the 2rd floor was never picked up. It was my families first time at this hotel. If we had to stay here again we would, only if we had to."

"Everything was clean. Staff was kind and very sweet. Very helpful. The hair dryer high/low off button doesn’t work. You plug it in to run and unplug to turn off. It works but cannot adjust it. "

"The hotel and staff are spectacular! The room service is amazing and fairly priced would highly recommend. The location of The Read House is near many attractions."

"The room obviously has been remodeled. It needed softer lighting options and a different/additional mirror. My wife needed a location to do hair and makeup while i showered. There was a coffee maker in the room but nowhere (table wise) to plug it in. We actually had to plug it in on the floor. The lbedside light swtch and outlet on the window side of the bed did not work. We will say that the room was clean. Breakfast was ok. "

"Breakfast was good and "happy hour" was nice, but they were STRUGGLING with turnover. Probably just a bad day. "
