This hotel really was a beautiful building. It smelt really nice and the decor was stunning. We stayed in a deluxe king room which was nice because it had a beautiful bathtub. Unfortunately i was only able to take one bath because the plug was broken and got stuck the first night and they ended up just taking the entire plug out so i couldnt take another bath. This hotel also allows you to keep bags with the bellhop so you dont have to carry them around the city on the days you arrive and leave. As far as location goes it is in a very conventient spot but as far as views from the room or rooftop bar goes... you really cannot see times square from either.

Walked into lobby where counter was an unsteady board covered by a drape cloth. Place was being renovated. Had to wheel husband into restaurant and ramp rugs were filthy. Food was good. Staff was nice. Got to room at 6:30 pm and there was NO HOT WATER. NONE! Fortunately the hot water was replenished ...

People very nice. This building must have been built in the 70’s. Remodels of older hotels often miss the mark. Still have spackled ceilings and bathroom needs fully refreshed. Exposed receptacles and ceiling wires exposed. Not up to snuff for a Hilton brand.
