Nestled deep in the County Tipperary countryside, on the western banks of the River Suir and just a little south of the Cahir Park Golf Club, Swiss Cottage is a rural house in every respect. Ireland has ancient stonemasonry in abundance, but it is rare to find such an excellently preserved example of a 19th century cottage as this one in Cahir.

"The hotel is centrally located along the river. It is a short walk to many shops and pubs. The Waterford Crystal factory is a 5 minute walk. Well worth a tour.
The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet is very good with a good variety of choices."

The staff on reception was very friendly and the night porter was great when we needed access after midnight as had to pop out to do a pickup from the airport. Breakfast in the morning was a fantatstic selection, we got down early so everything was very fresh and breakfast staff was very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything, will definitely be returning for another nights stay!
