"The overnight stay was a pleasure the staff were welcoming and helpful. The bar is well stocked and the cooked breakfast very tasty. The building looks a bit tired not surprising as it is originally an 18th century coaching inn but that didn’t spoil our stay."

The breakfast was delicious and it wasn’t the usual buffett, they seat you down and there is breakfast menu, place the order and they make it fresh which was a wonderful experience. "Modern hotel facing the estuary with car parking. The staff are all very courteous and efficient. Nice bar, the restaurant is very good especially Sunday lunch(best Sunday lunch ever) comfortable bed, room with a view... What's not to love. 😁👌"

"Property was brilliant but really needs a lift as having to do several trips up and down stairs with all belongings was a bit inconvenient as you have to leave your belongings unattended downstairs whilst you go back to collect the rest of your belongings "

"I love this hotel, I stay 2-3 nights each week and the staff all know me and are super helpful and professional. In a 5 star hotel, it’s the service that sets the hotel apart and that’s so true here. Rooms wise, the facilities are gorgeous and very well designed I wish the clientele weren’t so ghetto, but the rooms are soundproofed so I don’t normally hear the partying going on. The food is incredible. If they could just get rid of all the guests it would be perfect haha. The spa is a bit of a party area"

"Lovely hotel, not huge so personal feel. Absolutely spotless. Staff friendly and lovely pool. Very relaxing break. Worth noting there is no lift so had to use stairs. Not an issue for us but worth knowing if you do struggle with stairs so you can ask for an accessible room. Will stay there again."
