"It’s an old building that needs a little tlc. Bar is exceptional, as were the bar staff. The ceiling in my bedroom leaked a little when I rained however, and the shower needs repairing and resealing. Some of the carpets have seen better days. Overall I feel like the actual room wasn’t as nice as the photos. A mini fridge would go a long way, as would a proper coffee set up instead of putting it in the wardrobe"

"Really really impressed by this hotel. The staff were the shinning light form check in, evening meal in the restaurant to the breakfast then check out staff. they were all a pleasure to interact with and a credit to the hotel. The room was large, clean, and well equipped. staying there was a genuine pleasure and i would recommend to any travellers"
