"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "We have just arrived back home from the most amazing stay at St Hilda's. We stayed in the Cairo room and the pictures do not do it justice it was just beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. The bed was extremly comfy, we had such a lovely restful nights sleep. The room was absolutely spotless as well and has a really detailed information booklet with places to eat and drink, taxis and takeaways in it which was really handy. The lady that check us in was so friendly and made us feel really comfortable and was more than happy to answer any of our questions. The continental breakfast was really good, there were so many options to choose from and you can fill a tray and take it up to your room if you wanted to as well. We will definitely be back! Thanks for such an amazing nights getaway"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Feversham Arms. This is one of the most welcoming hotels. Staff are friendly and always great you with a smile and meet your needs on every request. The spa is wonderful, we used the facilities each day of our stay. The hotel is perfectly situated in Helmsley. It is opposite the Cleveland way, we walked to Rievaulx Abbey and back with was a lovely walk. Our Anniversary dinner was excellent, the flavours popped in your mouth and the whole culinary experience was unforgettable. A little jewel of a find, one we would certainly revisit. "
"We have stayed at White Horse Farm Inn before and have enjoyed our time there. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a lovely village inn.
It is a typical village pub of it's age and time. It has the most spectacular scenery as it's stands on a plateau up the hill on the road leading to Rosedale Chimneys. Absolutely beautiful!
Our room was the very large family one so we had plenty of space.
The staff were fantastic. Friendly Yorkshire folk, nothing was too much trouble.
The food was well cooked and there was a lot of it. (Smaller portions can be asked for) which we had.
Overall we were not disappointed and we would stay here again.
