"The house is very clean, spacious and well equipped. Check in was also very easy, and we could park inside, within the gated property. We only didn't like that it was a bit remote from the city, but we didn't have any issues."

"This was our second visit to Eagles Nest and this time we stayed at Eagles View Cabin. Eagles view was even better than our last cabin with an amazing view. We were surprised to find the desert in bloom with wild flowers everywhere - really beautiful. The cabin whilst rustic and a little chilly at night has everything you need for a self catering break and was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t bother to drive to the lodge as we stocked up with supplies and spent our time exploring the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed disconnecting as we had no wifi or phone signal but that was perfect. "

"We only stayed one night at the end of a stay at Eagle’s Nest due to limited availability at the Nest chalets. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and quiet the accommodation was. "

"The view from the outside seating area was amazing. Comfortable enough inside. A small two seater settee or twin soft armchairs would have made it perfect for us."

"The structure is perfect, and people were lovely. Plenty of hiking trails available and some to do with mountain bike as well (available to rent at reception). The facilities were very good, very nice food at the restaurant with plenty of vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise! Only thing, the lack of electricity at the camping site (which is clearly stated, so we knew about it in advance). Otherwise I would have given 5 stars to everything!"

"Very nice & friendly hotel"

"I spend 60-80 nights a year in hotels for work and leisure and I have never done a negative rating. Until now. This place is a dump. We booked two nights and after an hour in I went down to reception to report our worn out and tattered towels, the shower water takes 25 minutes to drain before the next person can shower. The receptionist did not blink, did not apologize and did not offer to bring newer towels. The safe was locked and I asked for it to be unlocked. I am still waiting. The safe was not even secured and can be picked up and removed by anyone. The website shows there is a bar. It was perhaps used many years ago. No sign of glasses, drinks or a barman. No glasses in the room either. I asked for ice and the response was so laughable that I will not publish. The nightstands had two lights. One had no electrical plug nearby, so it was useless. We got out of there as quick as we can the next morning and did not check what they offered for breakfast. Money wasted and no refund for the night not stayed. My best advice if you want to book there: DO NOT DO IT!"
