Ana and her friend who mend the place are super friendly.They switch my room to the ground level floor because I have problem with stairs. The room is cleaned , bed made every 2 days, even though I don’t need it. The rooms on ground floor are more spacious than the room that we occupy on 1st floor"

"As a solo traveller I was glad to find affordable single person accommodation. However the single rooms are downstairs and there is no balcony, or view or even a proper window. It is possible to be outside but it’s a terrace walkway between buildings. I am sure the upstairs rooms are much better. Excellent breakfast tho the buffet is waiter controlled creating much comedic confusion. Breakfast is ok tho. No tea / coffee machine in room and I’d been used to that in my other rooms in Italy. "The hotel has several 5 star rating points to it. The staff cannot be more helpful and the rooms are comfortable, well sized. The hotel itself is small enough that the staff get to know you and are as helpful as can be. The negatives- the rooms are not sound proof - so ear plugs are needed and for some reason they charge 2EUR to rent pool towels. I've never been to a hotel where you pay for pool towels. They also don't tell you this when you check in so when you get to the pool, only then are you told, and you have to walk back up to reception. Breakfast as basic but nice, service at breakfast always with a smile. Cocktails round the pool were excellent, very reasonably priced and served quickly. The bar upstairs was also great, we didn't try the restaurant as wanted to venture into town at night which is beautiful."

"Outstanding service from all the staff - from the front desk, to housekeeping, and the dutiful restaurant staff. The rooftop restaurant (Lampara) served delicious food and the wait staff were excellent. Our room, overlooking the sea and the Castelo, was spacious."

"We loved our stay and wish we could go back immediately. Beautiful property made of multiple buildings on a hill side. The room was comfortable with good AC and plenty of closet space. The included breakfast was excellent and had a lovely view (I especially appreciated the cappuccino the staff would bring out). Staff was very friendly and nice. We noticed a few ants near our doorway our first morning and the staff immediately took care of it. As other reviewers mentioned, there’s a path that takes you from the hotel into the port, which was very convenient. It is a bit of a climb so we made sure to stock up on water and snacks whenever we went down to explore/for dinner. Two pools, which we used quite a bit, both with gorgeous views. The ocean deck was unfortunately not open when we visited end of May, but there’s a small nearby beach along the path that takes you into town (about a 5-10 min walk) There’s also a bus stop at the top of the property (you can buy tickets from the front desk or at shops around the island), which made it easy to get around. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby while we explored after check out, which was great. Highly recommend!"

"We had a lovely time staying here at the end of our trip to Italy! The staff is extremely attentive, friendly and welcoming. This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at while abroad! Ischia is beautiful and this property has access to a private beach as well. It’s also very close to port which is walkable from the hotel. The pools are amazing as well!"
