"Enjoyed a relaxing 3-day family staycation in this wonderful rental. The 1-BR unit is modern and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. Located within a gated community and a residential property, it was a “home away from home” experience that no hotel stay can duplicate. "Overall great experience - super nice property, ocean view, short walk to the beach, 2 pools. Our only complaint was that our room (The Hansen, a king suite room) was right next to the staff laundry room. The door was always open and we’d have to be careful opening our door, and staff would often be talking and hanging out right outside our door. Another thing was even during slow season (mid-August) we had a scare one night where parking was full, but luckily after driving around town for 5 mins someone had just left. So the parking isn’t really “reserved” it’s shared with day pass/restaurant guests as well. "

"My wife and I enjoyed the stay, our room, the staff and would be happy to stay there again. Parking is limited and accessibility is for able bodied people. We typically walked to restaurants. Our bed was comfortable, the AC unit kept the room comfortable. The breakfast was breads, cereals, coffee, milk, juice. The Inn does a pretty good job of taking care of the place, they just don't have the ability to take care of places in the neighborhood, which are a bit run-down. It is an island community, so it is a relaxed environment."

"Check-in and check-out were super simple. Office staff communicates by text upon flight arrival and drops a pin for easy navigation. St John roads are an adventure all by themself, so the pin really helps. We stayed in Guave and the view was stunning. From the spacious balcony you can see all of BVI as well Coral Bay and the east end of St. John. The unit is very nicely decorated and in good shape. The spacious kitchen has a surprising number of appliances, gadgets and even some common spices and condiments which really nice. The grounds are well kept as in the awesome infinity pool, though the property is a fairly steep hill and there are 54 steps between the upper units and the pool, and a few dozen more down to the rarely staffed office. The ladies are quick to respond to texts or calls though. There is a market just down the (very steep) hill, but the 20 minute drive into Cruz bay is well worth it (better still, stop by their market before heading to the mountain top). Their markets are better stocked and about 30% cheaper. If you want a peaceful retreat away from crowded family resort life and the best view on the island, Calichi is the place to be."

"If you’re staying at the villas or treehouses, just know they’re doing construction (as of Feb 2025), which can be annoying if you plan to stay at your villa between 8:30 AM and 4 PM. Don’t get me wrong this surroundings and areas beautiful and the service is mostly great. Will definitely come again to give it a second chance! "
