My husband and stayed at this location for an overnight get away to celebrate our anniversary.
When we attempted to go to dinner we discovered our door would not lock. I immediately contacted the front desk and was informed there’s nothing that could be done until 7 am the next day. Per the employee I won’t name, the hotel was full and they were unable to do anything. They expected my husband and I to sleep in a room where the door wouldn’t lock or latch, unacceptable. I asked for a number for someone who could make a decision. My request was simple, put us in another hotel or give us a refund. He complied and gave us the general managers number. I attempted to reach Tanner twice before I contacted corporate.
I spoke to corporate and it was suggested we push something up to the door, really? While we were out to dinner it was suggested that we take our belongings with us, I couldn’t believe this. Shortly after getting off the call with corporate I received a call from Tanner.
He was apologetic, to our surprise another room right down the hall was available. It wasn’t as nice as the one we were in but at this point I was exhausted and frustrated. Our overnight getaway did not end in an anniversary dinner. I don’t understand why I had to call anyone. This wasn’t a I don’t like my room complaint. It was a serious safety concern.
Area was right off the highway. First room was amazing! Room was clean, bathroom had a great shower. Second room was just ok.
