"Staff is sublime! Cheerful and helpful. Coffeemaker in room did not work and was quickly replaced. Urban setting on edge of The Hill. I will stay here again."

"This is a great older hotel with free garage parking and a free cooked to order breakfast. I have stayed here many times visiting a sick family member every couple of months. Best shower in the world! Wish they wouldn’t have wood floors in the rooms and instead would have carpet. Other than that it’s a great place."

"We really liked the room and property. A few things to keep in mind. We were there on a Thursday night and the bars and restaurants close at 9 pm. If you want any food or drinks after you have to go into the casino. I’m assuming the casino allows smoking. The smell of smoke from the casino is very noticeable in the areas near the casino entrance. If I had been inclined to go into the casino to grab a drink, I wouldn’t have been able to take the smell. Also, I reserved a room with two queen beds. Our party included my wife, daughter, and myself. When we got to the room I saw there was only a king bed. I went down to reception to see if we could get the room I reserved on Expedia. They told me that the room choices are not guaranteed. So I asked for a roll away bed and they charged me $30. "
