Very short staffed, no room service to clean room. they replace towels, but didn't make bed or clean up room at all, including taking out garbage. They seemed annoyed when we asked to get room cleaned on the last night. The front desk was always very busy with one staff managing everything at the front desk. They never answered phone or delivered an extra blanket when asked. Jade the bartender was the only friendly staff member there! Good location downtown. But definitely the worst service of any Hyatt I have stayed at. For the price I would have expected a lot better.

Super location in the heart of Downtown, just a 5 minute walk to the pier. Room was comfortable with 2 double beds and a nice lounge area. Good buffet breakfast was included and the car parking is reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay.

Another plus is that the hotel is in walking distance to museums and other cultural activities. The only thing I would suggest is that perhaps more housekeepers are needed It was clear that they work very hard, but my room was not serviced twice. Despite that, I would definitely stay at the Hyatt Place Downtown again.

Overall, the property was clean, quiet and staff friendly but it wasn't anything special. At this price point I was expecting more. Best part is its location. Easily walkable to restaurants, the waterfront, The Dali Museum, The Chihuly Museum, the Saturday farmer's market, and many other attractions. We had a large room with more than enough space but it felt like it needed some "warmth". There is no body lotion or shower cap in the room so be sure to bring your own. We could not access our streaming channels from the room. Rooms do have a safe, microwave, and refrigerator. The lobby also has a "coldness" about it. Paid parking is on property but we felt like it should have been complimentary. Breakfast is complimentary but everything was dry and overcooked. There was nothing bad about the property but there was also nothing great about it. I would definitely try somewhere different next visit.

Our room was spacious and clean. The fitness area was very well equipped, also spacious with a nice view. Location of the hotel was right downtown, very convenient to many attractions and restaurants. We enjoyed the included breakfast buffet, especially the coffee which was very hot! Our housekeeper was very thorough and friendly. I would definitely stay at the Hyatt next time I am in St. Petersburg.

The breakfast was not up to Hyatt standards. Everything seemed old as though it had been cooked the night before. I was surprised we had to ask for toiletries that are usually in the bathroom. The room was large and clean and the staff helpful, especially Mariana.

The location of the hotel is the reason we picked it but the service and cleanliness was even better. Marina at the front desk was an absolute pleasure. She told us exactly where to go, switched out our sheets and pillows because of my feather allergy. She went above and beyond and made our stay a million times better, all done with a smile!
