"This property is outdated, needs a lot of maintenance as their were many issues that need addressing. Door was very difficult to close, paint chipping in room, just overly worn out property reminded me of a lower tier resort. Their was a weird odor around the property from the water making it difficult to want to relax on their beach."

"Very embarrassing. Other than the view of the Gulf, location, and sunsets it was terrible. We had friends visiting from the Netherlands and they were so disappointed as were we. Would not stay at this location again. Staff were okay, but appeared not at all concerned about the issues we encountered. The hotel needs to be refurbished and updated. Will not recommend unless you want the access to the Gulf and sunsets. I would not recommend a stay here."

"My stay at the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The valet parking staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. The front desk team made us feel welcome and ensured everything went smoothly throughout our stay. I was especially impressed with the lady who helped us with information about local excursions. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and took the time to answer all of our questions. The beach staff and workers were equally amazing—everyone was courteous, attentive, and eager to help. What stood out most was how polite and friendly every employee was. No matter where we went on the property, we were greeted with a smile and treated with excellent customer service. The entire team helped make our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach and look forward to staying there again."

"Pool area needs more umbrellas and lounge chairs. 2 out of 5 umbrellas were broken. Ironing board was broken. Went to open it and the whole thing feel apart. Pillows and mattress were outdated.....very lumpy and uncomfortable for both. $38 to park your car overnight as a guest but yet if you go to the beach as a local you're charge $35. A bit surprised by the price. Tamika and Anthony were out standing and made our stay very pleasant."

"The parking onsite is terrible. The hotel charges you $25/day for street parking but its by meter that you have to reup every 6 hours, or $45 per day for valet parking, but if you drive a truck, F250 etc, they can not park it, so you have to park it offsite, but still get charged $45, for valet when they can't park or get your vehicle. The AC in our room didn't work well and the hotel smelt old and moldy"
