"The Printmakers Inn (Button Suite) is a beautiful property with lots of historic charm, and I appreciated the character of a building that dates back to the 1800s. However, there were a few issues that affected our stay. As soon as we walked through the door, there was a strong musty smell. The rug in the living room was also quite worn, and I nearly tripped on it, which was concerning from a safety standpoint. My biggest issue was the noise on Thursday night. There was work being done in the suite directly above us, and we could hear pounding and a significant amount of noise while we were trying to enjoy our stay. I completely understand that older properties need maintenance and renovations, but this type of work should be scheduled when guests are not staying in the surrounding suites, especially during the evening. Overall, the property is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but the musty smell, worn rug, and nighttime construction noise took away from the experience. With better attention to maintenance and consideration for guests when scheduling work, the stay could have been much more enjoyable."

"The hotel was great; very clean, nice amenities, easy check in, and friendly staff. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything I needed for my work trip. The proximity to the conference center, shopping, dining, and sightseeing was great. I had one negative issue, and unfortunately, it was a significant enough to prevent my return. The hotel has posted quiet hours beginning at 10pm. However, the bar serves until midnight. The first night wasn't terrible, just the occasional loud bursts of laughter or raised voices. For the remainder of my stay, the bar played football games until last call. The noise of the game and the loud patrons echoed throughout the atrium, (which all balconies overlook) and could be clearly heard in my room. When I called the desk to inquire about why the noise was permitted to continue beyond the quiet hour, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done, as long as the bar was open. The man was very kind and polite, but it was clear that the concern was out of his hands. Needless to say, I did not sleep well and was exhausted by the end of my trip. Traveler beware - quiet hour may begin much later than advertised."
