"Glacier Inn is not a hotel, it is a home. It only has shared baths, but advertises as having private baths. The man who met us at the property was very rude. DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Dynjandi! Inga was so kind and I had such a pleasure talking with her. I called her earlier in the day because I had a car issue and would be arriving past their check in time. She kindly waited for me. My room big and came with complimentary tea, water, and biscuits (that I quickly ate up!). The bathrooms seemed brand new! They were clean and had a neat artistic decor to them. My bed was comfy. Fosshotel Vatnajokull

"We loved staying at this hotel. It was a beautiful setting where we were able to see two Glaciers from our window. When we finally arrived at the hotel after driving for 5 hours, we were exhausted, but dinner revived us—the lamb and Arctic char dishes were amazing! My husband said it was the best lamb he had ever tasted, and I agreed! We were so glad that we decided to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a good night sleep, and we were ready to go hiking nearby Glaciers. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks for hosting us! "

"Small but strategically placed property right beside Vestrahorn and the Viking Village. Room look updated, although small with not much room to move around the beds, it had everything needed for a comfortable and quiet stay with great views. Very friendly welcome and with it right beside Vestrahorn, it was an ideal stay for getting pics at sunset and sunrise. Breakfast was standard fare but dinner options were limited to soup, a panini or grilled cheese and ham. Book early as likely to sell out well in advance!"

"This is our second stay here and we absolutely loved it, it was our wedding night. We were greeted by a lovely welcoming smile and congratulations from all the staff on reception. They then offered us a congratulatory drink (not expected ) but very much appreciated and was a lovely little extra . Then we got to our room , our room was lovely and clean , had an amazing view and another little surprise of congratulations in the room in the form of a hand written note and some macaroons . We went down for another drink and the staff were lovely and friendly , welcoming and kept checking on us that we were okay . Overall another brilliant visit , would highly recommend staying here . "
