"The apartment is right by the beach which is perfect! Upon arrival (12:00) we received a warm welcome. We were taken to the bar since we arrived quite early. They had given us a banana/fruit drink while we waited for our room to be ready. We sat down and enjoyed the ocean view. Approximately at 13:00 we went up to our room. "Had a fantastic stay at Psaras. This was our 2nd time & equally enjoyable. Comfy beds, constant hot water, great position for restaurants, bars etc & maid service regularly.
The only thing to mention is on our previous visit we could use the pool at the hotel in front. We were told we couldn’t do that any more as it’s an all inclusive hotel & it’s not free to use the pool/beds like it was 4 yrs ago. Otherwise all good "

"This was our first stay at a “boutique“ hotel. But it will not be our last. We loved the adult only aspect, and after the craziness of several days in Athens, it was the perfect antidote. The property is lovely and the staff is wonderful. We were greeted by name when we arrived and they never asked for a name or room number again. They just know who you are. I just wish we’d had more time. If we’re ever in Crete again, will definitely be back."

"It was perfect for us for an extended stay but it may not be suitable for other people as there is no pool and you must carry your own luggage through a flight of stairs . Beach is only a few minutes away so location wise it worked well as there is a safe underground passage way to cross the busy national road safely. The bed was comfortable and the view was great. Room service every 2 days and the staff is friendly and helpful. We also loved their three dogs and we are dog lovers si think about this if you are not into dogs. We loved our time as we stated but we remain aware this set up might not be for everyone say with higher standards in mind. "
