The staff were all wonderful! The handicapped features were not good at all. The door to the bathroom should be reversed for easier access to the shower, the shower bench was too small, they mounted the shampoo bottles where the head goes above the bench, water flows out of the shower so the floors are soaked when trying to exit, and the room as at the end of the hall next to an exit door with no handicapped parking in sight or ramp.

We are visiting Starkville to move my son out of his dorm. Our first choice is to stay at La Quinta. The location is good as well as the room for our needs.

Open during the great freeze of 2024
I stayed in hotel during the great freeze of 2024when the entire area was shut down due to 1/2" of ice and snow. Nearly every business was shut for 36 hours. The hotel stayed open, breakfast was served and it was good, rooms were cleaned. Clearly different people were doing those jobs but you would not have noticed. Staff did an incredible job keeping everything working properly. Every member of staff should be commended. They did such a good job coming back to stay this week

We spent one night here in November 2023. It was located at a halfway point on our road trip south. La Quinta was a great place to stay - we had a king room. Loved the walk-in shower. Very clean and nice toiletries. Staff was super nice. We ate at the restaurant next door - great burgers. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Staff was extremely friendly, check in was very fast, we traveled with two dogs and had no issues. Recomend tryings Walkon's next door. Great food.
