"Clean towels and comfy pillows that smell yummy ARE ALWAYS a plus while vacationing, they had both!
Bud, Jimmy and Buds granddaughter were all so helpful and welcoming, we traveled as a family of four, we have two adult children and they did not hesitate to bring us an extra cot/bed and extra pillow and blankets…

The hotel is charming and be prepared to walk up stairs (4 flights for us)
so if your disabled or elderly you might double think this one or ask for a bottom floor.
The view out of the windows was AMAZING, you literally feel like your in Greece or somewhere beautiful in Italy!!
The continental breakfast was just ok, consisting of 3 types of bagels, cream cheese and jelly, coffee, orange juice, tea bags, bananas & oranges…

I recommend dry packets of oatmeal but maybe that doesn’t fit in the “continental” mix?
One of the views that we had of the street and beautiful homes up in the Catalina mountains was actually sitting on the toilet where I got stuck one day lol and my husband fell asleep sitting in there. my son let me know by saying “Mom Dad’s snoring on the toilet…

There is no ice machine, they keep ice at bottom of stairs in one of those store style fridges and it’s free, “take two bags up” the owner said, they do keep it filled👍
