"The rooms are so cozy here and there is a wonderful fire pit in the evening in the courtyard. Our room had a huge jacuzzi tub and a great heater in the bathroom. Violet, in the office, was absolutely a delight. She helped us with everything......got us new towels each day......marked up maps of the city.....showed us around the hotel and let us look at another room for a future visit."

"I stayed at Hotel Mac Rae between Christmas and New Years, the weather was not the best because of some storms, but the stay was great. I stayed in one of the rooms with the view of the beach and boardwalk. The room was nice (it’s an older hotel but it was nice to have a built-in closet with nice size drawers. In room there is a small refrigerator and coffee maker. Very clean room, nice view of the harbor. It even had a nice outdoor court room area but could not take advantage of it due to the weather. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place right where all the action happens!"

"Both Melissa and Parker at the front desk were excellent. The property is a small boutique hotel away from all the tourists but easy walking to shops and restaurants. Morning breakfast was simple. Will be back again."
