"It was wonderful, I had a toddler with me and they were so great with him. Highly recommend the breakfast, wasn't as huge a fan of the dumplings but the rest was SO good. Dinner wasn't great but it was nice to have room service. The koala mousse is wonderful if you peel back the koala "fur" to the mousse. Excellent. The place was clean and they give you extras of everything, loved the laundry service too, that was super convenient. The pool was cold but hot tub was hot. The gym is fantastic, they have a spin studio too!! So great. It's close to great shops and the train station and the free tram and walking distance to many tourist attractions like the Melbourne museum and parks and the waterfront. "
Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Location is relatively near to Airport bus drop off and train station. Abt 10 mins walk. Otherwise not much going on in the hotel’s vicinity. Walking back to hotel at night can get pretty dark and quiet. Surrounding street and passageway leading to hotel entrance is not well-lit. Has to lookout for safety. "
"I liked the closeness of 3 major hospitals in an area that is walking distance from each other and public transport ease and dinning options. The room I was staying in could of been cleaner the bed head was dusty and windows were not cleaned. The main window had a Brocken handle and would not close properly. Staff were great and room service was fast and efficient.
